The fine print, expanded

Terms of service.

The same way we wrote the privacy policy - no maze of legalese designed to hide something. These are the rules for memberships, the rewards program, and being in the store. If anything's unclear, ask and we'll explain it.

★ The short version

Memberships bill monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime. Product we set aside for you is for you to play and collect, not to flip - resale gets your membership pulled. The free rewards program is free. Be decent to staff and other players in the store. That's basically it; the detail is below.

1. Agreement

By signing up for the rewards program, purchasing a membership, or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't sign up. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here and, for members, sent to the email on file. Continuing to use a membership after a change means you accept the updated terms.

2. Memberships & billing

Memberships are monthly and recurring. They bill on the same cycle each month until cancelled. Each tier's price, included product, and perks are described on the memberships page and may change with notice; changes don't affect the cycle you've already paid for. Memberships require a valid ID, a local address, and a no-resale agreement. Some tiers are application-only and capacity-capped (for example, VIP room tiers are capped at 10 members per game). The one-time welcome gift is one per person - cancelling and rejoining does not earn another.

3. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current paid month - you keep that month's product and perks, you're not billed again. We don't prorate partial months. Product reserved for a billing cycle you've paid for is yours to pick up; unclaimed product after a reasonable window may be released. If we cancel or revoke a membership for cause (resale, abuse, or violating these terms), no refund is owed for the current cycle.

4. No resale

Membership product and member-discounted product is for your personal play and collection. Reselling it - online or otherwise - defeats the point of the program and is grounds for immediate membership revocation with no refund. We reserve the right to revoke membership for anyone caught reselling or abusing member pricing.

5. Rewards program

The public rewards program is free and tied to your phone number. General public earns 1 point per $10 spent and 10 points per visit; members earn faster by tier. Points have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and are redeemable only for product or perks we designate. Public accounts inactive for 12 months may be expired. We may adjust earn and redemption rates with notice; we won't zero out points you've already earned without a fair redemption window.

6. Pricing & availability

Sealed product, especially chase sets, is priced at market and can run over MSRP - that's deliberate. Prices, product availability, and allocations can change without notice and some product is supply-constrained. Memberships guarantee your allocation where stated, subject to manufacturer supply outside our control. Member discounts apply only to eligible product as described on the memberships page and fine print.

7. VIP room

The VIP room is for top-tier members plus one guest during regular store hours. Complimentary drinks and snacks are for members and their guest - not for groups, parties, or filling a bag on the way out. Access is a perk, not a right, and can be suspended for misuse.

8. Store conduct

This is a space for players of every age and background. Harassment, cheating, theft, or hostile behavior toward staff or customers gets you removed and may end your membership without refund. Staff have final say on conduct and play-space disputes in the store.

9. Liability

The store, the website, and events are provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, Level Up Hobbies isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the site, the rewards program, memberships, or participation in events. Nothing here limits rights that can't be limited under applicable law.

Questions?

If a rule here is not clear, ask.

We wrote these the way we'd want them written if we were the customer. If something still reads funny or you're not sure how it applies to you, call or email and we'll walk through it.
